The Living Legacy Project, Inc. was founded in 1995 by critically-acclaimed actress/entrepreneur Rasheryl L. McCreary, three time nominee and 2001 recipient of the Northern Ohio Live Award of Achievement for Community Events/Outreach. Ms. McCreary has over 20 years of combined experience as a professional performing artist, educator and corporate trainer.

The Living Legacy Project, Inc. programs have served nearly 300 participants and over 2500 audience members in Cleveland, Akron and Kent, Ohio. Funders have included: The Cleveland Foundation, The George Gund Foundation, The Billie Howland Steffee Family Fund, The United Black Fund, The Cleveland Browns Foundation and The Women’s Endowment Fund of the Akron Community Foundation.
